22 Bible Based Affirmations For Young & Old

Hola Amigos y Amigas!!

May is here, and what better way to celebrate mental health with some biblical affirmations!!

Affirmations, in a nut-shell, are positive statements made with the aim to uplift, validate, and encourage. They are statements that affirm and build you up.

Many of us have heard of speaking affirmations over our lives like 'I am beautiful' and 'I am strong', but I thought I'd come to you with not one, but two twists! *does happy dance* These affirmations, unlike many other popular affirmations, point to God and our relation to Him, rather than ourselves, thus avoiding a sense of false pride and self-centeredness. And second, I'm bringing affirmations that even children can say!

Does this mean these affirmations can only be used for kids? NO, these affirmations can be spoken at any age, but we often forget about children/young teens. So, if you are raising a child, mentoring a teen, or just simply need some positive bible based affirmations, this post is for you. Be sure to pin it, so you can easily access at any time!

Disclaimer: These are written simply so that young children can repeat them, feel free to read the verse and re-word for yourself if need be.
